All the better for some great music and a cup of good coffee (sorry...I'm a little biased there! Though I did drink my first cup of tea last week.)

Duncan was right...Q cafe looks amazing. I'm headed to Seattle this summer, so I guess I just picked up a new stop on my itinerary.

Duncan you are SO right on several things:

Plugs!!!! My favorite spot has one -- count it -- one plug in the whole cafe. Regulars jockey quickly to grab it. It just occurred to me to bring a 3-way converter next time. Hmmmm.

I would also like a small variety of food, because I keep breaking my diet when hunger hits. Donuts and pastries are great, but how about something else for a change?

And also, while I'm on a roll, lighting that provides both atmosphere and actual light.

Tea! I don't drink the coffee stuff....

Space to be alone if you want peace

Plugs for when you want to charge your laptop after 5 hours and one drink.

Food to keep you going after 5 hours

Signs that they care about the community, something that makes you feel part of it, rather than it just being a coffee shop

A member of staff that stands out, that remembers you. You go there because it's a good place, you stay there because you know them

Check out the Q cafe, I love that concept
