Marla, happy new year. i was going to say i loved groundhog day too and just post my comment every day for the next week but i thought that would be lame humour....

I bought Kathy the Outliers book for Christmas, looking forward to reading it too. I reckon I've spent close to 7,500 hours playing Football Manager. I'm not yet an expert but I am a total waster! (that's a genuine calculation by the way)

My very favorite movie of all time!! When we first moved into our house we had no cable for about a month and only one vhs - you guessed it groundhog day! GREAT message in that movie. I am excited to read the book(or just the reviews :)) and be very intentional about something this year..now to choose what..is there a book out there for that?

Dianne, we must be part of a very small, exclusive group who loves Groundhog Day! I am slightly prepared for a lot of groans from my facebook community, as they have come to not rely too heavily on my movie tastes!

The course in church history should be fascinating. I have always loved the Martin Luther/95 Theses era. SO much drama.

I'm hoping to get over to "The Office" soon and pick up that book, too. I left it sitting there the other day because I had vowed NOT to buy another book while I was there. Kind of a self-discipline issue. Now I'm regretting it. Ha. That says something about me...just not sure what!

Marla - I LOVE Groundhog Day! So much so that my husband proposed to me on that day and we sorta celebrate it every year! I loved this post too - very challenging as I'm still figuring out some goals for this year. First up - I've registered for a course on church history at a local seminary. Just taking that first step feels great. Thanks (as always) for the great book recommendations.
