Sorry, bloggy world. Somehow vacation mode has intersected with extended family mode and left me with no time to blog! Or even think of a blog. In brief, my Alzheimer’s mother was pulled over by a policeman (yes, she was still driving) and lost her license in the process. Since she lives on her own, thousands of miles from me, I’ve been busy finding drivers and setting up systems so she can continue to live independently. Add in my lovely complement of four traveling girls and one traveling dog…well, you understand.
We go home tomorrow! I’ll talk to you then.

Sorry to hear of all you’re dealing with. Wish I had the perfect words to say to help in your time of distress (as you once did for me.) All I can think about is Jesus being exhausted after a great deal of time with his constant 12 companions and the crowds and needing time to be alone with His Father to refresh and fellowship, only to be told…. hey wait, there’s no time for that…… this big crowd that came to see you needs food. Once again, the necessities of this life take precedence over other important things. I’m sure we’re all happy to wait on you….and hopeful your circumstances will provide even more insightful posts. I see we serve the same wonderful, marvelous God. I am on the OUGM.org website under the women’s recovery program. Nice to see someone with the same name, and who loves Jesus too!
